Bhubaneswar: The Online Revenue Court Case Monitoring System (RCCMS) launched by Odisha government on Tuesday to boost quick disposal of revenue cases at Tahasil and district levels.
“For more transparency , Good governance and the accessibility of the people to the service delivering system,” use of Technology is Important said chief secretary AP Padhi after launching the Online Revenue Court Case Monitoring System. He directed all the revenue officers to adopt more and more ITES for quick and accurate delivery of services. The chief secretary also inaugurated a booklet on e-Governance initiatives taken by Revenue & Disaster Management Department. Department secretary Dr Chandra Sekhar Kumar explained the basic objectives and modus operandi of these e-Governance modules. Padhi visited the Project Monitoring Unit of the department and inspected the actual flow of work in online systems.
Explaining the RCCMS, additional secretary Sangram Mohapatra said that the officers dealing with revenue cases would do all the case related transaction through this online system. The moment an applicant submits his application it would be entered into the system and the applicant would get the case number, user ID and passwords through SMS. Available data showed, as of now e-registration has been made functional in 187 Sub-Registrar offices and more than 95 Thasil offices are already having online mutation system.
